Looking For Chi

I always stretch after running -> always! Even so, I am becoming less and less flexible as the years go by. What's up?
I thought frequent S T R E T C H I N G would prevent stiffness in runners.
I bravely watch these folks [Yoga Today] practice their asanas. I would fail miserably in one of their sessions. I can't even sit cross legged for any length of time.
I realize, "It's too late for Yoga!"
I'm going to look into this gentler form of body engagement called Qigong. Hell, I have to do something soon or I won't be able to bend over to put on my runners. 

"You probably think Qigong is for old people who like hanging out in the park in the morning and performing karate moves at a glacial pace."
